Darla Stubbs, started teaching kids 30 years ago, at the age of 15 years old. She’s dedicated her life to serving others through education, an area that’s always been her passion.
The Vision for this school came 20 years ago, and with the help of her amazing Family, Husband, and many generous contributors this dream has become a reality.

Our Amazing Team
Without the help of our awesome teachers that give their time, energy, and passion into teaching, our 200 plus kids would be left without leadership or a proper education. There are also many others who help us outside of teaching, and without such a great team this non-profit school would not survive.
School Principal
Adrian Roan, the principal of our school, has been dedicated to delivering excellence for many years. Before joining the Academia Libertad Y Paz, he’s taught music for 5 years, English in the University of Benito Juárez for 2 years, and Spanish, Math, History and Science in both the Alma Dayer and Manuel Dublan Elementary schools.
